"VIP treatment at a romantic B&B”
Drummond House was a real find! This heritage house offered us a river-view room with an enormous king-size bed and full ensuite bath. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating - even loaning us wine glasses and a bottle opener so we could enjoy our own bottle of wine by the pool. Breakfast was a gourmet feast, with abundant coffee/tea and fruit juice, an artistic fruit platter and cooked-to-order eggs Benedict. Definitely a place to return to over and over again.
Stayed May 2011, traveled as a couple.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay over Valentine's Day weekend 2011. I was looking for something very special not too far from our home in Stittsville. In no time I was exchanging emails with Pat, who help me plan a romantic evening at Drummond plus dinner at a local restaurant. Then in the morning, capping it all off with exquisite breakfast. I am sold on B&B's from now on and will be back to Drummond soon. Thanks Pat and David for making our Valentine Day memorable. Marti & Bruce Dowds; Stittsville ON.

Jerome & I had the pleasure of spending 2 evenings at the Drummond House and
we were very impressed. Patricia and Dave were very accommodating & cycle
friendly, as my husband cycled from Ottawa to their B&B. He REALLY enjoyed the
pool and hot tub. Patricia is a fabulous cook! The breakfasts were delicious and wonderfully presented. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for a place to stay where you feel there is a nice balance between enjoying their
hospitality and having your own privacy. Perth is a wonderful town as well.

We were lucky enough to win our overnight stay at The Drummond House through the CHUM Radio auction. Believe me we were not disappointed! Pat and Dave were wonderful hosts that made us feel very welcome and at home. The room was just fabulous and comfortable, and the use of the pool and hot tub really was a highlight of our night away! Our breakfast was nothing short of gourmet (I was sure to tell my husband to not expect the same presentation at home! LOL) We attended a local play (fabulous!), and had an amazing dinner at The Stone Cellar (amazing as well!) All and all, a wonderful trip to Perth and will be definitely recommending The Drummond House Perth B&B to friends and family! 5 Stars for sure! Thank you again Pat and Dave!

WOW! Drummond House offers the whole package! I booked the Hearts A Fire Romantic Get Away package as a surprise to celebrate Kevin’s birthday and romantic doesn't begin to describe the experience we shared. Nestled in the heart of downtown Heritage Perth, Drummond House exudes charm, and that’s only the outside. We were greeted by Pat who is one of the most charming and welcoming people we have ever met. She showed us to the Summit Suite (the 4 Poster King Bed in their Tayview Suite was booked - which I knew when I booked the package, but that didn’t stop Pat from giving us the romantic setting I was hoping for) which was beautifully decorated with an amazing view of the pool and gazebo. After getting settled, we walked around Perth and absolutely loved the little shops and stores that lined the streets. We had dinner at a local restaurant and headed back to Drummond house for a swim in the heated pool and a relaxing time in the hot tub! Once finished, we sat in the screened in gazebo, listened to romantic music and sipped champagne, which was provided as part of the package. In the morning, we had a private breakfast, in the gazebo, which would have impressed any world class chef! We started off with homemade banana bread and an assortment of fresh fruit which was presented in such a beautiful manner that it was a shame to eat it. This was followed by amazing eggs Benedict. It was such a memorable experience that we booked our next stay the moment we arrived home! Pat and Dave made our get away more than special! We would recommend Drummond House to anyone who wants to experience what a B&B should be!! Thanks again for a wonderful time!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary at the Drummond House B&B. This historic house is a visual feast for the eyes paralleled only by it's immaculate condition and upkeep. The fare at breakfast rivals any 5 star restaurant and all of the little added touches and luxuries made us feel decadently pampered. I dare say the real magic behind this lovely B&B are it's owners Pat and Dave. Warm, friendly and attentive they epitomize the term hospitable. This is a lovely B&B, knitter friendly, pleasantly informal but luxurious with amazing breakfasts. Pat and David will give your stay their all. Highly recommended. I'd give it a 5 balls of yarn ranking. - (Best B&B I've ever stayed at and I travel for a living!)

This is so long overdue. My apologies to Pat and Dave. My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at the Drummond House in early August and even though it was only for one night, it stands as one the best Bed & Breakfast experiences we have had....and we have had many!
Pat and Dave were very gracious hosts and made us feel like more friends than guests. They were very helpful when it came to identifying local eateries and where we could launch our canoe. Although we weren't staying a second night, they allowed us to make use of the pool and hot tub well after checkout which truly enhanced our short holiday.
As for the accommodations....the house is beautiful, rich in history and in immaculate condition. The room (The Tayview Suite) was breathtaking and extremely comfortable.
Thank you (Pat & Dave) for a truly memorable 'get away'!

Absolutely fantastic!! We rented all 3 rooms for the weekend of our wedding and Pat and David were extremely accommodating and welcoming.
The hospitality we received when we had some of the wedding party over after the rehearsal was greatly appreciated. Although my fondest memory has to be when I asked Pat what time breakfast was, and she asked me what time I wanted it. Breakfast was amazing and different each morning, the pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing in, and all of the amenities and heartfelt touches made the stay and our wedding perfect. I will definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast and will hopefully be able to come back.

Can there be any superlatives not cited by previous guests? Each and every one richly deserved. We arrived late and exhausted from a 7 hr drive, to be greeted with warmth and made to feel immediately at home.
I was pleased when my request for an early morning pot of tea, turned into stimulating, relaxing chats fireside with our relaxed and gracious hosts. Others have said it all. Our room, overlooking the Tay is sumptuously appointed, with everything one could wish for at hand.
The finely appointed dining room led us to expect and receive a superb breakfast. Clearly Pat has a passion for gourmet meals. We needed no lunch either day.
We had never visited Perth before, and Pat was able to point us to exactly the kind of stores, and antiques shops we sought.
We wish Pat & David all the success they richly deserve. We will definitely be future guests, only hoping to stretch the number of available days on future visits.

My sister and I recently enjoyed a two night stay at the Drummond House and it was outstanding. The owners, Pat and Dave, go out of their way to ensure that you are pampered. The breakfasts were superb, the hospitality was excellent and the charm of their own home and area makes this one of the nicest B & B's I have visited. The weather was perfect for a swim in their pool and some relaxation in the hot tub. If you are looking to get spoiled, then visit the Drummond House.

July 12, 2009 What a beautiful Bed and Breakfast to stay at for our 40th Wedding Anniversary!!! The King bed was divine. The linens were whiter than snow. Our stay there was one of the most comfortable and peaceful Bed and Breakfast that we have stayed in and we have been to twenty four since July 2008. We would rate it at an A+

It is hard to know where to begin! My husband & I stayed with Pat & Dave when we were in Perth for our son's wedding and it was amazing. Pat & Dave are the perfect hosts. They make you feel like a member of the family. The house is beautiful and our room was great. We enjoyed the hot tub and a glass of wine by the pool after a busy day. We look forward to a return visit!

The Tayview Suite was exquisite, the decor tasteful and the king size bed and fluffy pillows very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and sumptuous. Pat and David are the most charming hosts. This is one of the best B&B that we have been to. We will definitely recommend the Drummond House to our friends and family.

Our friends live in Perth and it was nice to go out there and enjoy their company and not have to worry about the return drive home to Ottawa. Drummond House is splendidly decorated and the rooms quite spacious. Perfectly located close to the downtown (and the golf course in the summer). We look forward to our next visit. It must be fantastic in the summer with the pool, the hot tub, flower garden and a great view of the Toy basin.

Our first experience at a B&B will definitely not be our last. The room was nicely decorated and the washroom was huge with beautiful plush white towels. The breakfast was superb....not really a breakfast, but a gigantic brunch,we didn't eat again until dinner. The table linens were out of this world and the presentation of all the fantastic food was extraordinary!! Dave and Patricia were very friendly and made us feel more than welcome in their beautiful home. We will certainly be back in the near future.

We came to Perth and stayed with Pat and Dave at the Drummond House. You would be hard pressed to find a better B&B. The rooms are spacious and well decorated with many extras (satellite TV and phone). Pat and Dave were gracious hosts and you can't say enough about Pat's breakfast, home cooking at its best. We wish Pat and Dave much success and are looking forward to our next visit.

Our stay at the The Drummond House on Nov 1st was absolutely sumptuous in all respects. Previous reviews about Drummond House have said it all. Pat and Dave were very gracious hosts and our room (The Tayview Suite) is superbly decorated and comfortable (and what a view of the Tay Basin!). They have done a wonderful job of keeping the charm of a nineteenth century home and yet providing all the modern conveniences. Well done. We wish Pat and Dave all the best for a successful B&B.

With so many B&Bs to choose from we chose Drummond House as we were attracted to the large room overlooking the Tay river. We were delighted not only by the spacious room and very tastefully decor, but Pat exceeded our expectations in her gracious hospitality. We stayed at Drummond House B&B on our wedding night. We had the King Room. I wouldn't know where to begin to tell you what lovely hosts Pat and David are. Our room was first class all the way. It was the best breakfast I had ever had in my life. What a way to start married life! Beautiful B&B, friendly happy hosts in a lovely town. Glad we choose Drummond House B&B.

Drummond House is the nicest Bed & Breakfast that we've ever stayed at in the past 25 years. It is absolutely beautiful, clean and and full of character. Furthermore,we each had our own bathroom which was excellent. We loved it! Plus, the owners were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and pampered. We had an amazing getaway, lots of fun and great food. Thank you for spoiling us!

Beautiful home near the downtown area and Tay Basin. Patricia and Dave are great hosts and serve a mean breakfast. The King size bed and room is about as luxurious as it gets. The character of this very well maintained home still reflects the time and area it was built. We will definitely be back. Thanks Pat and Dave, we regrettably could only stay one night. Next time will be longer!
